MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUGS OFFENCES

#ARREST | On Sunday 6th September at around 16:10hrs officers stopped a red Mini in Ellerbeck, Stonydelph.

There was a suspicion the driver may have been driving under the influence so a roadside drugs swipe was conducted on the driver who tested positive for cannabis. 

A search of the vehicle was conducted wherein officers found a sizeable amount of cannabis in addition to money.

The 21-year-old male driver, from Wilnecote, was arrested for possession with intent to supply a class B drug and driving under the influence of drugs.

He has since been released on conditional bail.
